I am Gabriela Acha, a visual artist and curator born in Córdoba, Argentina. I currently live in The Hague, the Netherlands, where I have been based for the past nine years. I hold a degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Arts at the National University of Córdoba.

In 2020, I graduated *cum laude* from the Master’s programme in ArtScience at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, receiving the Dutch Excellence Scholarship for my academic performance.

In 2025, I received the First Prize at the Maestro di Monopoli Biennial in Italy. My work has been presented in more than ten countries across Europe and the Americas, and is included in both public and private collections.

I am currently Vice President of Pulchri Studio, a historic artists’ association of over 180 years in The Hague, linked to important figures in the visual arts such as Vincent van Gogh, Sientje Mesdag, and Hendrik Willem Mesdag, among others.

My artistic practice focuses on reflecting on museums as institutions and technologies of memory. I explore how societies construct remembrance, what narratives are preserved, and which are excluded. My work particularly addresses the representation of women and minorities, as well as the diversity of perspectives within historical narratives and spaces of memory.

My practice is multidisciplinary and involves installation, performance, drawing, storytelling, sculpture, painting, text, and kinetic art.

Through my work, I explore the role of museums in shaping both collective and individual memory, as well as the politics of visibility in art history.
